Kai absolutely loves visiting Turkey. So much so, that on his most recent visit there he decided not to come home! The sights, sounds and smells of its vibrant capital Istanbul are so captivating, you can hardly blame a fish for choosing to stick around for a while.
Kai’s favorite spot on this particular visit was the Galata Tower. Built in 1348, it was originally used as a fire tower and was the tallest building in Turkey at the time. From the top of the tower, you can see spectacular panoramic view of the city and the Bosphorus. You can also have some coffee, enjoy a meal and even catch a show!
This Kai’s last known location, hiding in a tree near the base of the tower. If any of our koi friends in Turkey spot him, please help him find his way back home to us. It would be nice if he could make it home in time to spend the holidays with us!
