Halloween is coming up and your job requires you to wear scrubs. Here are a few simple ways to dress up your everyday scrubs and get in the Halloween spirit!
IF YOU WEAR BLACK SCRUBS…
Black Cat
What you’ll need:
- koi cat ears surgical hat
- koi whiskers face mask
- koi meow compression socks
- practice meowing and purring
Witch
What you’ll need:
- witch’s hat
- broom
- black cat stuffed animal
- a mischievous cackle
IF YOU WEAR GREY SCRUBS…
Mouse
What you’ll need:
- mouse ears
- koi whiskers face mask
- tail
- ability to wiggle your nose
IF YOU WEAR BLUE/CEIL SCRUBS…
Superhero
What you’ll need:
- cape
- long gloves
- emblem for your chest
- boots
- just be yourself, you’re a superhero every day
Crayon
What you’ll need:
- a cone for a hat made out of posterboard
- a crayola logo for your chest
- face makeup
- Ability to stand straight and stiff
IF YOU WEAR WHITE SCRUBS…
Angel
What you’ll need:
- gold or silver halo
- wings
- an angelic smile
Bunny
What you’ll need:
- bunny ears
- bushy tail
- carrot (optional)
- a hoppy disposition
- the good nature to ask every doctor you pass, “What’s up, doc?”
Of course, you may want to come up with your own costume ideas. Use your imagination. Or maybe you prefer wearing one of koi’s frightfully fun Halloween print tops. Whatever you do, have a happy Halloween!
HALLOWEEN COSTUME DO’S & DONT’S FOR THE WORKPLACE
Do:

Don’t:
- Wear something super scary (you don’t want to scare your patients!)
- Wear something inappropriate for the workplace
- Wear something that will interfere with your ability to do your job
- Wear something that would be uncomfortable if worn for an extended period of time
